Choosing High Bay LED Lighting for Warehouses

Mounting height, lumen output, beam angle and controls: a quick guide to lighting large open spaces.

Warehouses and gyms are where LED upgrades pay back fastest. Here is how to pick the right high bay. Mounting height As a rough guide, 15–20 ft ceilings often suit lower-output high bays, while 25 ft and above usually call for higher lumen packages. Always confirm with a photometric layout. Beam angle Narrow optics push light down tall aisles between racking; wide beams suit open floor areas. Colour temperature 4000K–5000K is typical for industrial spaces where visibility and alertness matter. Controls Occupancy sensors in low-traffic aisles can significantly cut run hours. Check each product's spec sheet for lumens, wattage and listed ratings before you order.
